Quenching Fiery Darts

 

Lord help me tuck Your truth
inside of me

as I prepare
for each day

keeping my emotions in check
with Your righteousness

and by faith sending satan’s
barbs away.

To Stand

 

We can put on
the full armor of God

so that we
can stand

not fighting against
flesh and blood

but the powers of darkness
at hand.

As Dear Children

 

Let the words
from my mouth

be simply
thankful ones

as an imitator
of God

lighted by
His Son.

Knit Together

 

We are joined together
close knit
by what each
supplies

every one
doing their part
causes growth and
edifies.

One Lord, one faith
one baptism

one God and Father
of all

one body and
one Spirit

we’re called.

Rooted And Grounded

 

O Lord strengthen us
on the inside

by Your Holy Spirit
and might

filling us with
Your fullness

to know Your love
it’s depth, its height.

Made Alive

 

I was far off
but brought near

by the blood
of Christ

saved through faith
Your mercy and grace

once dead now I’m
alive.

We are Your church
Your body
the fullness
of You

Redemption

 

According to the riches
of His grace

we have been
forgiven

that in the fullness
of the times

He can gather all things
to Him.

denied

but in the Beloved
we’re established

accounted for
sanctified.
