Rolled Away

 

Every stone
will be rolled away

  so that you
can see

I am
who I say I am

so now help others
believe.

You establish my belief.

“And they said among themselves, ‘Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?’ But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away – for it was very large.” Mark 16:3,4 NKJV

Making A Way

I was mocked
scourged

beaten and
crucified

dying yet
rising again

making a way
for you new life.

You establish victory over death.

“And Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and breathed His last. Then the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.” Mark 15:37,38. NKJV

At The Right Hand

 

I am the Christ
the Son of God

and blessed are you
to believe

I’m seated at
the right hand of Power

and coming with clouds
heavenly.

You establish Yourself as the Son of God to me.

“Again the high priest asked Him, saying to Him, ‘Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?’ And Jesus said, ‘I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.’ ” Mark 14:61,62. NKJV

Watch And Pray

 

I have given you
a work to do
as you watch
and pray

for I am coming
back for you
and you’ll see me on
that day.

You establish my watching and praying.

“Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch.” Mark 13:33,34 NKJV

The Herodians
and Pharisees
looked for wrong
in what I’d say

but you know
My words are true
that I’m your life
your hope, your way.

You establish Your truth to me.

“Then they sent to Him some of the Pharisees and the Herodians, to catch Him in His words.” Mark 12:13 NKJV

Anything Against Anyone

 

Forgive quickly
when something happens

just as I
forgive you

so we remain
uninterrupted

the way we
are meant to.

You establish my forgiveness of others.

“And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, , forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.” Mark 11:25 NKJV

The Little Children

 

Let the little ones
come to me

as many as
you can

remembering you’re
a child too

holding onto
My hand.

You establish how I come to You.

“Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.” Mark 10:14 NKJV

Seasoned

 

I will
season you

with Holy Spirit
fire

so you
continue to live

by My purpose
and power.

You establish my purpose.

“For everyone will be seasoned with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt. Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another.” Mark 9:49,50 NKJV

Who Am I?

 

It is good
that others know Me

that they can tell you
who I am

but I want you
to seek me out

for yourself
first hand.

You establish who You are to me.

” ‘Who do men say that I am?’ And they answered, ‘John the Baptist, but some say Elijah; and others, one of the prophets.’ He said to them, ‘But who do you say that I am?’ And Peter answered and said to Him, ‘You are the Christ.’ “. Mark 8:27,28,29 NKJV

My Commandments

 

I will teach you
the difference

between what’s from men
and what’s from Me

for traditions
snare and entangle

but My commandments
set you free.

You establish Your commandments to Me.

“And He said to them, ‘All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.’ ” Mark 7:9 NKJV
