Called Out Of Darkness

 

Once we knew
not mercy

and walked in the darkest
night

but now we too are
God’s people

called into His marvelous
light.

Burning Continually

 

As the oil
fueled the lamp

that burned
continually

so Holy Spirit
ignites a flame

that shines
eternally.

My Light is continually with me.

Darkness And Light

 

I go
before you

and I stand
behind

confusing
your enemies

while for you
I shine.

The One who goes before and stands behind is with me.

Of The Day

 

We are not
in spiritual darkness

but sons of light
daughters of day

wearing our breastplates
of faith and love

with the confident hope
of the saved.

A Light

The Hidden Things

 

You will come
and bring to light

the hidden things
of darkness

revealing counsels
of the hearts

being the One
who praises.

High Time

 

Now is the time

and the day is at hand

to put on His armor
of light .

Only by Your help
do I stand

give witness

A Great Light

 

Help has come
we have a Savior

for unto us
Christ was born

bringing light to
our current darkness

and forever hope
each new dawn.
