Confident

Your good work has been
started in us

and by the matchless
grace of You

we can know
without a doubt

You won’t stop until
You’re through.

**********

You are with me, doing a good work in my life.

**********

“. . . being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ . . .”

Made Alive

I was far off
but brought near

by the blood
of Christ

saved through faith
Your mercy and grace

once dead now I’m
alive.

**********

You are with me and make me alive.

**********

“And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins . . .”

“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,”

“even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ . . .”

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God . . .”

Accepted

The opposite of accepted
is rejected

disapproved
denied

but in the Beloved
we’re established

accounted for
sanctified.

**********

I am accepted for You are with me.

**********

“. . . to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made us accepted in the Beloved.”

Good Comfort

We will be of
good comfort

we will be of
one mind

living in peace
becoming complete

by the grace of
Jesus Christ.

**********

You are with me and complete me.

**********

“Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.”

“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.”

Supplied

We have an abundance
for every good work

as You make all grace
abound

supplying seed to sow
and bread for food

thanksgiving on our lips
is found.

**********

I am supplied for You are with me.

***********

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, have an abundance for every good work.”

“Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.”

2 Corinthians 9:8,10 NKJV

No Condemnation

Though we make
a mess of things

and must work through
what we’ve done

You still do not
condemn those

in Jesus Christ
Your Son.

***********

There is no condemnation for You are with me.

**********

“Therefore the Lord [earnestly] waits [expecting, looking, and longing] to be gracious to you; and therefore He lifts Himself up, that He may have mercy on you and show loving kindness to you. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed [happy, fortunate, to be envied] are all those who [earnestly] wait for Him, who expect and look and long for Him [for His victory His favor, His love, His peace, His joy, and His matchless unbroken companionship]! ” Isaiah 30:18 AMP

“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:14-17 NKJV

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:1-2. NKJV

Called Into Existence

Humbled
in the presence

of the God
whom I believe

as He calls the things
which don’t exist

as though they do
indeed.

*********

You are with me and help me see what You see.

*********

“Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith, of Abraham. Who is the father of us all,”

“(as it is written, ‘I have made you a father of many nations’) in the presence of Him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did “

My Propitiation

We all have sinned
and fallen short

yet You
have made a way

through the blood
of Jesus Christ

by faith
we all have grace.

*********

You are with me and are my propitiation.

*********

“. . .for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,”

“whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,”

“to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.”

For His Name

With power
according to the Spirit

by His resurrection
from the grave

we receive grace
for obedience

to the faith and honor
of His name.

**********

You are with me and give me grace to obey.

**********

“Jesus Christ our Lord, declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.”

“Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name, among whom you also are the called of Jesus Christ. “

Holy Place

Cubit by cubit
measure by measure
this is the Most
Holy Place

as day by day
you build within me
an altar made
of grace.

You establish Your Holy Place.

“He measured the length, twenty cubits; and the width, twenty cubits, beyond the sanctuary; and he said to me, ‘This is the Most Holy Place.’ ” Ezekiel 41:4 NKJV
