Shining With Brightness

 

Those whose names are written
shall be delivered

shining with brightness
a heavenly glow

purified, made white
refined with understanding

the wisdom of making
His glory known.

Greatly Beloved

 

You are greatly
beloved

and can stand
without fear

for I will strengthen you
and give you peace

your prayers I
always hear.

“And he said to me, ‘O Daniel, man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for I have been sent to you.’ Then he said to me, ‘Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard . . .Then again, the one having the likeness of a man touched me and strengthened me. And he said, ‘O man greatly beloved, fear not! Peace be to you ; be strong, yes, be strong.’ So when he spoke to me I was strengthened . . .” Daniel 10:11,12,18,19 NKJV

Because Of Your Great Mercies

Because of Your
great mercies

we can come
before You

speaking
supplications

for we are
Your people.

You establish Your city and Your people.

“Oh my God, incline Your ear and hear; open Your eyes and see our desolations and the city which is called by Your name; for we do not present our supplications before You because of our righteous deeds, but because of Your great mercies. O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and act! Do not delay for Your own sake, for Your city and Your people are called by Your name.” Daniel 9:18,19 NKJV

Just as I shut
the mouths of lions

and saved Daniel
from the den

I will deliver
and rescue you

over and over
again.

In Your Hand

 

You hold my breath
in Your hand

and own
all my ways

and I will give
You glory

each
and every day.

Your Works Are Truth

 

All honor and glory
to You, O Lord

whose works
are always truth

Your dominion is pure
Your ways are justice

and all pride
You will undo.

No other God
can deliver

can save us

no other God
but You.

Deep And Secret Things

Mighty God

Revealer of deep
and secret things

blessing Your name
forever

as You give wisdom
and understanding.
