Hear And See

 

It is up to me
to receive, believe

no one else
can do it for me

so I pray
my eyes to see

and my ears to hear
continually .

give witness

that You suffered

bringing light into
our darkness.

be sent

to turn others
from darkness

to forgiveness
of sin.

A Resurrection

 

I have hope
in God

and know I’ll
always be

with Him
forever

in His resurrection
glory.

Fire

struggling to light

and stay lit

The oven looked okay from the outside, but lacked fire within.

Take Courage

I am always so blessed when God sends a friend to greet me at the grocery store.

Thank You, Lord, for all the ways You encourage us right when we need it most. And here’s a simple poem . . .

Eagerly greet
your brothers and sisters

lavish love
on them today

giving them courage
for their journey

and thankful hearts
full of praise.

Those Who Sail With Us

Paul must’ve been praying for everyone on board.

gives us purpose
and sees us through

who are with us

The Hope of the Promise

Jesus is our Hope and our Promise.

coming to bring
forgiveness

and eternal life
restore.

Affirmed To Be Alive

We can affirm He is alive too.
