Glory In The Lord

 

In Your presence
there can be no glory
of anything of
the flesh

for its You
who give me wisdom
redemption and
righteousness.

You are with me and are my glory.

“For you see your calling brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.”

The Lifter

 

I am the lifter
of your head

My kindness
you’ll be shown

as you sit before Me
all your days

and My provision
is made known.

You establish Your kindness to me.

“Now it came to pass in the thirty-seventh year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty fifth day of the month, that Evil-Merodach king of Babylon, in the first year of his reign, lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah and brought him out of prison. And he spoke kindly to him and gave him a more prominent seat than those of the kings who were with him in Babylon. So Jehoiachin changed from his prison garments, and he ate bread regularly before the king all the days of his life. And as for his provisions, there was a regular ration given him by the king of Babylon, a portion for each day until the day of his death, all the days of his life.” Jeremiah 52:31,32,33,34 NKJV

Unforgettable

 

You come to Me
seeking and weeping

at such a time
and on this day

joined to Me
in a perpetual covenant

that’s unforgettable
forever and always.

You establish a perpetual covenant with me.

” ‘In those days and in that time,’ says the LORD, ‘the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, ; with continual weeping they shall come, and seek the LORD their God. They shall ask the way to Zion, with their faces toward it, saying, “Come and let us join ourselves together with the LORD in a perpetual covenant that will not be forgotten.” ‘ ” Jeremiah 50:4,5 NKJV

Works and Treasures

 

I have given you
the work of your hands

all your treasures are
from Me

so you can
magnify My name

and live for My
glory.

You establish Yourself as my treasure.

“For because you have trusted in your works and your treasures, you also shall be taken. Make him drunk, because he exalted himself against the LORD.” Jeremiah 48:6,26. NKJV

Appointed Times

 

You’ve been given
a charge
and cannot
be quiet

but must wield
the truth
where I
have sent it.

You establish my appointed times.

“How can it be quiet, seeing the LORD has given it a charge . . .There He has appointed it.” Jeremiah 47:7 NKJV

Rightly Corrected

 

I will put an end
to the oppressors

but not
an end to you

for I’ll be with you
don’t be afraid

as I correct
what you do.

You establish my correction.

” ‘Do not fear, O Jacob My servant,’ says the LORD, ‘for I am with you; for I will make a complete end of all the nations to which I have driven you, but I will not make a complete end of you. I will rightly correct you, for I will not leave you wholly unpunished.’ “. Jeremiah 46:28 NKJV

Seek Me

 

Do not seek
just for yourself

but seek
after Me

and your life
shall be a prize

for everyone
to see.

You establish my seeking.

” ‘Do you seek great things for yourself? Do not seek them; for behold, I will bring adversity on all flesh,’ says the LORD. ‘But I will give your life to you as a prize in all places, wherever you go.’ ” Jeremiah 45:5 NKJV

U Turn

 

Bend your life
into the shape
of
a u-turn

each time you set
yourself against
the truth
of My word.

You establish my ability to turn to You.

“But they did not listen or incline their ear to turn from their wickedness to burn no incense to other gods.” Jeremiah 44:5 NKJV

carefully

remember
who I am

trust in Me
completely

and to fear
put an end.

You establish Your voice to me.

“Now it happened, when Jeremiah had stopped speaking to all the people all the words of the LORD their God, for which the LORD their God had sent him to them, all these words , then Azariah, the son of Hoshaiah, Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men spoke, saying to Jeremiah, ‘You speak falsely! The LORD our God has not sent you to say, ‘Do not go to Egypt to sojourn there!’ “. Jeremiah 43:1,2 NKJV

Abide

 

Stay and
abide with Me

here in this place
I’ve given

do not be afraid
for I’m with you to save

and My mercy is real
and living.

You establish where I abide.

” ‘If you will still abide in this land, then I will build you and not pull you down, and I will plant you and not pluck you up. Do not be afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom you are afraid; do not be afraid of him,’ says the LORD, ‘for I am with you, to save you and deliver you from his hand. And I will show you mercy, that he may have mercy on you and cause you to return to your own land.’ ” Jeremiah 42:10,11,12 NKJV
