Made Alive

I was far off
but brought near

by the blood
of Christ

saved through faith
Your mercy and grace

once dead now I’m
alive.

**********

You are with me and make me alive.

**********

“And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins . . .”

“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,”

“even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ . . .”

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God . . .”

Ephesians 2:1,4,5,8 NKJV

By All Means

O Lord may I
In some way

relate to each one
I meet

that they might be
encouraged

and in You
be reached.

**********

I can share You with others, because You are with me.

**********

“I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.”

“Now this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I may be partaker of it with you.”

1 Corinthians 9:22,23 NKJV

You Will Be Saved

When we confess
with our mouths

the Lord Jesus Christ
and call upon His name

believing with our hearts
God raised Him from the dead

we will be saved
and not put to shame.

*********

You are with me and save me.

**********

“. . .if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

“For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.”

“For the scripture says, ‘Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.’ “

Gathered

I hear your cry
and regard your affliction
remembering the covenant
I have made

according to
My multitude of mercies
I gather you to Me
and save.

A laid down life triumphs in His praise

“Nevertheless He regarded their affliction, when He heard their cry; and for their sake He remembered His covenant, and relented according to the multitude of His mercies. Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the Gentiles, to give thanks to Your holy name, and to triumph in Your praise.” Psalm 106:44,45,47 NKJV

Covenant

Remember daily
My wonderous works
how I saved
and redeemed you

to tell others
all I have done
and of My covenant
with you.

A laid down life is in a covenant relationship with God.

“Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; talk of all His wonderous works. Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face evermore. Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgements of His mouth. He has remembered His covenant forever.” Psalm 105:2,4,5,8

Through His Grace

source - Wikipedia

source – Wikipedia

“Now therefore, why do you test God by putting a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?”  Acts 15:10 NKJV
“But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved in the same manner as they.”  Acts 15:11 NKJV

Only Jesus saves.

Thank You, Lord, for Your saving grace.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

No more burdens
must we bear

from heavy yokes
we are spared

for now we trust
and have faith

that only by Jesus
are we saved.

God bless you and save you today!

By The Name Of Jesus

“. . .let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole.” Acts 4:10 NKJV
“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 NKJV

Only by Jesus, am I still standing here today.

Thank You, Lord, for the power of Your name.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

We will call
on Your name, Jesus
for no other name
will do

no other name
can save us
no other can see
us through.

God bless you as you call on His name today!

Restore Us

“Restore us, O LORD God of hosts;
Cause Your face to shine,
And we shall be saved!”  Psalms 80:19

My mother and father-in-law would find old things and restore them.

Thank You, Lord, for restoring our lives to what You intended them to be.  And here is a simple poem . . .

Saved

Restore us, O Lord
and we shall be saved

shine Your face and touch us
and we shall be changed

for You undo the damage
that has been done

always finishing the work
that You have begun.

No Blotting

“And the Lord did not say that He would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven, but He saved them by the hand of Jeroboam, the son of Joash.”  2 Kings 14:27

I was saddened to hear that people believe in Replacement Theology.

Lord, thank You for Israel and all that You have done and are yet to do through her.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

But He Saves Them

Israel is My first born
the apple of My eye

I would never blot her out
and here’s the reasons why –

through her has come My promises
through her has come My Word

through her I will come again
remember what you’ve heard.

Hiding The Spies

“And as soon as we heard these things our hearts melted; neither did there remain any more courage in anyone because of you, for the Lord your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath.” Joshua 2:11

Rahab made important decisions that day. She hid the men of Israel, believing in the mightiness of their God. And she asked for the lives of her family to be saved.

Lord, as we believe You and hide Your word in our hearts, we are driven to ask that the lives of our families be saved. And here’s a simple poem . . .

May They Be Saved

Hide them, Lord, and protect them
from the evil one who prowls

draw them out and to You
from their usual crowd

soften their hearts and open their eyes
to You crucified out of love for them

help them confess and believe
You are the Son of God and man.
