No Greater Joy

 

It gives Me
great joy
to see you walking
in the truth

loving the brethren
and strangers
faithfully doing
what you can do.

A laid down life brings God joy.

“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. Beloved, you do faithfully whatever you do for the brethren and for strangers, who have borne witness of your love before the church.” 3 John 4,5,6 NKJV

Imitating

“Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good.” 3 John vs 11 NKJV

The “fight fire with fire” rule doesn’t apply to evil.

Thank You, Jesus, for Your great goodness that overcomes evil.  And here’s a simple poem  . . .

Evil’s a foot
and running rampant
there’s only one thing
that will trip it up

living lives surrendered
to our Good Shepherd
makes evil recoil
and slink on off.
