Finishing The Race

 

Lets allow ourselves
to be poured out

fighting
the good fight

keeping the faith
finishing the race

receiving our crowns
from Christ.

Be Ready

 

Preach the word
in season and out

convince, rebuke
exhort

for the time will come
when sound doctrine won’t be heard

so be watchful and fulfill
your work.

Thoroughly Equipped

 

All scripture is given
by our God

and needed for
instruction

that we His people
may be complete

equipped for every
situation.

In Humility

 

Be gentle
avoiding quarrels

teaching others
patiently

humbly correcting
those who oppose

so the truth is known
and they’re set free.

He Remains Faithful

 

If we die with Him

We’ve been saved and called

by His own purpose
and grace

to share in the sufferings
for the gospel

bringing forth His power
and praise.

Stirred Up

 

If you have
a spirit of fear

We are here by
the will of God

according to His promise
of life

all grace and mercy

flow from God and His Son
