Glory And Brilliance

Blessed are you
when you do

what I ask
you to

for you will see
My glory

and promises
come true .

**********

Lord, I long to see You glorified.

**********

“Moses and Aaron went into the Tent of Meeting, and when they came out they blessed the people, and the glory and brilliance of the LORD [the Shekinah cloud] appeared to all the people [as promised]. Leviticus 9:25 AMP

The Glory

The Lord’s glory was like
a consuming fire

in the eyes of
His children

and Moses went up
into the cloud

forty days and nights
on the mountain.

**********

The One whose glory is like a consuming fire is with me.

**********

“The sight of the glory of the LORD was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel.”

“So Moses went into the midst of the cloud and went up into the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.”

Exodus 24:17, 18. NKJV

Complete

Our God of peace
makes us complete

by every good work
of His will

doing in us
what is well pleasing

through Jesus Christ –
be glory still.

**********

You are working in me what is pleasing in Your sight, for You are with me.

**********

“Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,”

“make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.”

Psalm 3 Selah

You, O Lord
are a shield for me

when the enemy
surrounds

lifting my head
and sustaining me

in You
my blessing’s found.

**********

I can pause to evaluate my situation and who You are in it, for You are with me.

**********

“Lord, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise up against me.”

“Many are they who say of me, ‘There is no help for him in God.’ “

“But You, O LORD, are a shield for me, my glory and the One who lifts up my head.”

“I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the LORD sustained me.”

“Salvation belongs to the LORD. Your blessing is upon Your people.” Selah

Psalm 3:1,2,3,5,8. NKJV

The Glory In Your Midst

I will be a wall
of fire around you

and the glory
in your midst

sing and rejoice
O daughter of Zion

for I’m coming as I
promised.

**********

I can sing and rejoice for You are with me.

**********

“I will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.”

” ‘Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming and I will dwell in your midst,’ says the LORD.”

Former And Latter

If what you see
doesn’t measure up

to how things used
to be

stay brave and keep
moving on

into My greater
glory.

**********

You are with me and change what I see.

**********

” ‘Who is left among you who saw this temple in its former glory? And how do you see it now? In comparison with it, is this not in your eyes as nothing?’ “

” ‘Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ says the LORD; ‘and be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land,’ says the LORD, ‘and work, for I am with you,’ says the LORD of hosts.”

” ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the LORD of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the LORD of hosts.”

Before Him

You, O Lord, are in
Your holy temple

let all the earth
be still

as knowledge of
Your glory covers us

until like the sea
we’re filled.

**********

You are Lord of everything and You are with me.

**********

“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.”

“But the LORD is in His holy temple. Let all the earth keep silence before Him.”

Accepted

The opposite of accepted
is rejected

disapproved
denied

but in the Beloved
we’re established

accounted for
sanctified.

**********

I am accepted for You are with me.

**********

“. . . to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made us accepted in the Beloved.”

Unveiled

All praise to God
for He has taken

away the veil
so we can see

and be transformed
by the Spirit

into who He made us
to truly be.

**********

I am being transformed day by day, for You are with me.

**********

“Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.”

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”

“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

2 Corinthians 3:16-18 NKJV

Not In Vain

Be steadfast
immovable

knowing it’s
not in vain

this work
you do for Me

for the glory of
My name.

**********

You are with me and in what I do.

**********

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”

1 Corinthians 15:58 NKJV
