lean on Me

embracing

Let’s go see
the tender ones
who are about
to bloom

and soon will bear
the fruit of Me
just as you
now do.

A laid down life walks with God among His people.

Nurture

 

You come
into My garden
and before
you’re even aware

your love
has overcome Me
as you
nurture there.

A laid down life is lovely to God.

“Oh my love, you are as beautiful as Tirzah, lovely as Jerusalem, awesome as an army with banners! Turn your eyes away from me, for they have overcome me. I went down to the garden of nuts, to see the verdure of the valley, to see whatever the vine had budded and the pomegranates had bloomed. and do not be
afraid

to take part in
My sufferings
for this
you’re also made.

A laid down life is tested.

“I opened for my beloved, but my beloved had turned away and was gone. My heart leaped up when he spoke. I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer. Ravished

 

You ravish
My heart
with one look
from your eyes

My garden
My fountain
My stream
of life.

A laid down life ravishes His heart.

“You have ravished my heart, my sister, my spouse; you have ravished my heart with one look of your eyes, with one link of your necklace. Truly Pleasing

 

Seek Me, My love
and do not let
anything keep
you from Me

am the One
whose love is
truly pleasing.

A laid down life is awakened to His love.

and take My hand
for the rains are

is My love
