Wiped Away

Each lie cast
upon you

that leaves you frozen
and blind

I have come
to destroy

swallowing death
of every kind.

Jesus establishes Himself as my true covering.

“And He will destroy on this mountain the surface of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all, faces; the rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; for the LORD has spoken.” Isaiah 25:7,8 NKJV

Faithfulness and Truth

My counsels
of old
are faithfulness
and truth

all
other noise
I’ll quietly
reduce.

Jesus establishes my counsel.

“O LORD, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, for You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. You will reduce the noise of aliens, as heat in a dry place; as heat in the shadow of a cloud, the song of the terrible ones will be diminished.” Isaiah 25:1,5 NKJV

My Open Door

All your hope
shall be upon Me

every matter
of any kind

for I’ll continually
be open to you

closing other
doors behind.

Jesus establishes Himself as my open door.

“I will clothe him with your robe and strengthen him with your belt; I will commit your responsibility into his hand. He shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder; so he shall open, and no one shall shut; and he shall shut, and no one shall open.” Isaiah 22:21,22 NKJV

Seeing

The glory of men
all around you

will not
forever be

so I will set you
as a watchman

look and point
to Me.

Jesus establishes what I can see.

“For thus has the Lord said to me: ‘Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he sees.’ “. Isaiah 21:6 NKJV

Your Expectation

I am your
Expectation
your Glory
and your Hope

you can always
look to Me
to be encouraged
and to grow.

Jesus establishes my expectations.

“Then they shall be afraid and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation and Egypt their glory.” Isaiah 20:5 NKJV

A Sign And A Witness

You will be
as an altar
as a pillar
to your Lord

a sign
and a witness
of your Mighty
Savior.

Jesus establishes my deliverance.

“In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the LORD at its border. And it will be for a sign and for a witness to the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt for they will cry to the LORD because of the oppressors, and He will send them a Savior and a Mighty One, and He will deliver them. ” Isaiah 19:19,20 NKJV

In That Day

No one will look
at their false altars
or the work
they have done

for all eyes
will be on Me
the Holy
Lifted One.

Jesus establishes Himself as my Maker.

“In that day man will look to his Maker, and his eyes will have respect for the Holy One of Israel. He will not look to the altars, the work of his hands; he will not respect what his fingers have made, nor the wooden images nor the incense altars.” Isaiah 17:7,8 NKJV

In Mercy

Pray and weep
for the oppressor

for those who extort
and despise

for My throne
is established in mercy

truth and justice
always arise.

Jesus establishes His throne in mercy.

“For the extortionist is at an end, devastation ceases. The oppressors are consumed out of the land. In mercy the throne will be established; and One will sit on it in truth, in the tabernacle of David, judging and seeking justice and hastening righteousness. ” Isaiah 16:4,5 NKJV

Safety

You shall
be found in Me
and I will
give you food

a safe place
to lie down
a hope and a
refuge.

Jesus establishes my refuge.

“The firstborn of the poor will feed, and the needy will lie down in safety. What will one then answer the messengers of the nation? That the LORD has founded Zion, and the poor of His people shall take refuge in it.” Isaiah 14:30,32 NKJV

Sent

When I had a burden
against Babylon
I sent My sanctified
into her gates

My mighty ones
who rejoice in Me
who upon My
glory wait.

Jesus establishes His army.

“Lift up a banner on the high mountain, raise your voice to them; wave your hand, that they may enter the gates of the nobles. I have commanded My sanctified ones; I have also called My mighty ones . . .those who rejoice in My exaltation.” Isaiah 13:2,3 NKJV
