From His Mouth

“Receive, please, instructions from His mouth,
And lay up His words in your heart.”  Job 22:22

Sometimes we get a little too eager to instruct for Him and to put our words in His mouth.

Lord, how precious are Your instructions and words when I take the time to wait on You and seek
them.

Laying Up

No one else can speak to me
like You do

and no one else can instruct me
how to live but You

so let me not grow impatient
and heed just anything

but wait eagerly
for the message You will bring.
