Psalm 21 Selah

 

I have joy in
Your strength, O Lord

in Your salvation
I am blessed

I asked for life
and You have given it

full of Your mercy
and goodness.

I can pause and be thankful, for You are with me.

“The king shall have joy in Your strength, O LORD; and in Your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!”

“You have given him his heart’s desire, and have not withheld the request of his lips.” Selah

“For You meet him with the blessings of goodness; “

“He asked life from You and You gave it to him -“

“For the king trusts in the LORD, and through the mercy of the Most High he shall not be moved.”

Psalm 21:1,2,3,4,7. NKJV

the provider of
atonement
through whom goodness
is birthed.

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life ;”  Psalm 23:6

Lord, may the goodness and mercy that follows us leave a wide wake of lives touched by You, as we go.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

trusting my Shepherd
is leading me there.
