I am always so blessed when God sends a friend to greet me at the grocery store.
Thank You, Lord, for all the ways You encourage us right when we need it most. And here’s a simple poem . . .
Eagerly greet
your brothers and sisters
lavish love
on them today
giving them courage
for their journey
and thankful hearts
full of praise.

“For there stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve,
saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you.’ ” Acts 27:23-24 NKJV
Paul must’ve been praying for everyone on board.
Thank You, Lord, for knowing how very much we want those sailing with us to be saved. And here’s a simple poem . . .
We have a God
who saves us
gives us purpose
and sees us through
and even those
who are with us
will be shown
great mercy too.
God bless you and those with you today!
“And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made by God to our fathers.” Acts 26:6 NKJV
Jesus is our Hope and our Promise.
Thank You, Lord, for the hope Your promises contain. And here’s a simple poem . . .
Jesus is the hope
of the promise
that God gave us
long before
coming to bring
forgiveness
and eternal life
restore.
God bless you as you have Hope today!
“When the accusers stood up, they brought no accusation against him of such things as I supposed,
but had some questions against him about their own religion and about one, Jesus, who had died, whom Paul affirmed to be alive.” Acts 25:18-19 NKJV
We can affirm He is alive too.
Thank You, Lord, for being our risen Savior. And here’s a simple poem . . .
Satan thought
that he could kill You
but we affirm
You are alive
living strong
inside each of us
risen to
Your Father’s side.
God bless you as you celebrate Jesus today!
“For we have found this man a plague, a creator of dissension among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ring leader of the sect of the Nazarenes.” Acts 24:5 NKJV
“He even tried to profane the temple, and we seized him, and wanted to judge him according to our law.” Acts 24:6 NKJV
After this, Paul cheerfully answered for himself, unafraid of their lies. (Acts 24:10-21)
Thank You, Lord, for being our Judge so that we need not fear lies and accusations made against us. And here’s a simple poem . . .
The Judge we
come before
has known us
all our years
and no lie
or weapon formed
shall stand up –
we need not fear.
God bless you as you cheerfully come before Him today!
“But the following night the Lord stood by him and said, ‘Be of good cheer, Paul; for as you have testified for Me in Jerusalem, so you must also bear witness at Rome.’ ” Acts 23:11 NKJV
Paul had been brought into the barracks and detained.
Thank You, Lord, for being with us and helping us see our circumstances differently. And here’s a simple poem . . .
I am
with you
so be of
good cheer
for you will
bear witness
so others
can hear.
God bless you as you are of good cheer today!
“Then he said, ‘The God of our fathers has chosen you that you should know His will, and see the Just One, and hear the Voice of His mouth.'” Acts 22:14 NKJV
“For you will be His witness to all men of what you have seen and heard.” Acts 22:15 NKJV
He chose us too.
Thank You, Lord, for letting us see You and hear You and know Your will. And here’s a simple poem . . .
There are reasons
beyond salvation
for why He chose us
to be His
for we will know Him
hear and see Him
and become
His witnesses.
God bless you as you witness to what you have seen and heard today.
“Then Paul answered, ‘What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” Acts 21:13 NKJV
“So when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, ‘The will of the Lord be done.’ ” Acts 21:24 NKJV
We would not always choose the path God does for ourselves or our loved ones.
Thank You, Lord, for the plans You have for each of us, that will bring glory to Your name. And here is a simple poem . . .
When I think I know
where something’s headed
and none of it
looks good to me
I remember God’s will
to rejoice and give thanks
to trust Him more
and pray constantly.
God bless you as you are found ready to do His will!
” . . .the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me.” Acts 20:23 NKJV
“But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts 20:24 NKJV
The joy of the Lord is our strength.
Thank You, Lord, for giving us the strength to finish the race with joy. And here’s a simple poem . . .
Trials, troubles
and tribulations
lie ahead
for each of us
but can never
remove the joy
of testifying
unto Jesus.
God bless you with joy as you testify to the gospel of His grace.
