Stability

When you
believe in Me

you gain My wisdom
and knowledge

the strength
of My salvation

today, forever
and always .

Jesus is my established treasure.

“Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, and the strength of salvation; the fear of the LORD is His treasure.” Isaiah 33:6 NKJV

Stayed

Trust and let
your mind be stayed
yes, firmly set
on Me

and you’ll be flooded
with My peace
strengthening you
perfectly.

Jesus establishes my peace.

“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength.” Isaiah 26:3,4 NKJV

Drawing Water

I am your joy
your comfort
your strength
and your song

the salvation
you draw from
all
the day long.

Jesus establishes my salvation.

“O LORD , I will praise you; though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away , and You comfort me. Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; for YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.”
“Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.” Isaiah 12:1,2,3 NKJV

My Amen

I see your
little strength
and I will add
to it

for I am
your Amen
and give you
what you lack.

Jesus establishes my amen.

“See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God . . .” Revelation 3:8,14 NKJV

Clothed

I shall clothe you
with strength and honor
and when you open
your mouth

it will be in wisdom
and on your tongue
the law of kindness
will come out.

A laid down life is clothed with strength and honor from God.

“Strength and honor are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness.” Proverbs 31:25,26 NKJV

Everlasting

I reign and am clothed
in majesty
I’ve girded Myself
with strength

I am from
everlasting
you can count
on Me.

And when the floods
rise up
and lift high
their voice

remember I
am mightier
than the waves
and all the noise.

A laid down life has an everlasting God.

“The Lord reigns , He is clothed with majesty; He has girded Himself with strength. You are from everlasting. The floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves. The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters. Your testimonies are very sure.” Psalm 93:1,2,3,4,5 NKJV

Revive

Thankful for the neighbor hired to help.

“You who have shown me great and severe troubles, shall revive me again. You shall increase my greatness and comfort me on every side. I will go in the strength of the Lord God.” Psalm 71:16,20, 21. NKJV.

I will revive you
again and again
and comfort you
on every side

And when your strength
fails you
My strength I will
provide.

My Strength

“The Lord God is my strength;
He will make my feet like deer’s feet;
And He will make me walk on my high hills.”  Habakkuk 3:19 NKJV

As I grow older, I feel my own strength fade a little each year.

Thank You, Father, for being my forever strength.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

I can no longer climb
these high hills
and tremble at the distance
I am shown

but my, how I
am abled
as You make Your strength
my own.

God bless you as He is your strength!

No Better

“Are you better than No Amon
That
was situated by the River . . .
Whose wall was like the sea?”  Nahum 3:8
NKJV

“Ethiopia and Egypt were her strength
And it was boundless . . .
Yet she was carried away . . .”  Nahum 3:9-10 NKJV

Greatness and strength can be a slippery slope.

Thank You, Jesus, for being my stronghold and my hope.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

I am no better
than any other
rich or poor
sinner or saint

only in that
my life is Yours
do I have hope
come what may.

God bless you as you hope in Him today!

Pilgrimage

“Blessed is the man whose strength
is in You,
Whose heart is set on pilgrimage.”  Psalms 84:5

A pilgrimage denotes a certain sacrifice, an element of unknown.

Father, please help me to keep moving forward into all You desire me to.  And here’s a simple poem . . .
