The Patience and Faith

Your names
are written

in My Book
of Life

and only Me
will you worship

My patient
faithful Bride.

Jesus establishes my name.

“And all who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If anyone has an ear, let him hear. He who, leads onto captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and faith of the saints.” Revelation 13:8,9,10 NKJV

My Face

Repent
of your sins

turn again
to Me

for My face is
towards you

look now
and see.

Jesus establishes my times of repentance .

“But the rest of mankind . . .did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols . . .whcih can neither see nor hear nor walk. And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.” Revelation 9:20,21 NKJV

“When You said, ‘Seek My face,’ my heart said to You, ‘Your face, LORD, I will seek.’ “. Psalm 27:8 NKJV

I Believe

“Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said to him, ‘Do you believe in the Son of God?’ ”
“He answered and said, ‘Who is He, Lord, that I may believe in Him?’ ”
“And Jesus said to him, ‘You have both seen Him and it is He who is talking with you.’ ”
“Then he said, ‘Lord, I believe!’ And he worshiped Him.”  John 9:35-38 NKJV

Worshiping Him naturally follows believing Him.

Thank You, Lord, for opening my eyes to You.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Only One
could open

my eyes
that didn’t see

blind from birth
now I worship You

reborn
now I believe.

God bless you as you believe and worship Him today!

Our Great King

“. . . ‘For I am a great King,’
says the LORD of hosts,
‘and My name is to be feared among the nations.'”  Malachi 1:14 NKJV

What a privilege it is to love and honor God.

Thank You, Lord, for giving us opportunities to glorify You today.  And here is a simple poem . . .

He is our great King
our LORD of hosts

Whose name is awesome
among the nations

and we offer Him
our very best

praise and worship in
each situation.

God bless you as you honor and serve Him today!

It Shall Come To Pass

“And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, The LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.”  Zechariah 14:16 NJKV

I understand why people often read the end of a book first.

Thank You, Lord, for telling us the whole story, so we can be prepared, can persevere, and praise You always. And here’s a simple poem . . .

It shall come to pass

that everyone left

will go up

to worship the King

for He is worthy

and wonderful

the Lord of hosts

and everything.

God bless you as you worship Him now.

Finding Him

“And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, ‘Go and search diligently for the young Child, and when you have found Him, bring back word to me, that I may come and worship Him also.”  Matthew 2:8

Of course, Herod had no intention of worshiping Jesus.

Thank You, Lord, for making Yourself found to all those who are truly searching.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

I can’t send
someone in my place
no one else can worship
You for me

but if I seek You
with all my heart
I will find You and
Your mercy.

God bless you as you seek and find Him today!

Reduced

“The Lord will be awesome to them,
For He will reduce to nothing all the gods of the earth;
People shall worship Him,
Each one from his place,
Indeed all the shores of the nations.”  Zephaniah 2:11

Too often I have made a god of myself.

Thank You, Lord, for reducing the me in me to nothing, so I can worship You. And here’s a simple poem . . .

I will reduce to nothing
all the gods of the earth
of which you yourself
are one

so you can worship
in spirit and truth
from your brokenness
completely undone.

God bless you as He is awesome to you today!

Worship God

“And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that!”  I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”  Revelation 19:10 NKJV

Some of the brethren are more prominent and well known.

Thank You, Lord, for being the only One worthy of our worship, as we love and encourage one another.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Only One
for me to worship

no matter how great
my brethren be

only One
for me to bow before

Almighty and Wonderful
is He.

God bless you as you worship Him today!

Whenever

“Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever,
the twenty-four elders fell down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever . . .”
Revelation 4:9-10 NKJV

It is hard to remain unaffected by someone else worshiping God.

Thank You, Lord, for accepting our worship of You today.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Whenever I hear
some one worship
may I, too, fall
on my knees

giving You all
the power, glory and honor
of which You are
so worthy.

When Everyone Says Glory

“The voice of the LORD makes the deer give birth,
and strips the forests bare;
And in His temple everyone says, “
Glory!” ‘  Psalms29:9

I love that everyone in His temple says , “Glory”.

Lord, I desire that any selfish opinions, thoughts and words fade away so all that comes out glorifies You.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

The Voice of Glory

source – us-intellectual-history.blogspot.com

You’re the voice over the mountains
the voice over the seas
the voice over the forests
the voice over me.

Calling me to lay down my opinions
to lay down my selfishness
to lay down my own thoughts
and worship You in holiness.
