Unforgettable

You come to Me
seeking and weeping

at such a time
and on this day

joined to Me
in a perpetual covenant

that’s unforgettable
forever and always.

You establish a perpetual covenant with me.

” ‘In those days and in that time,’ says the LORD, ‘the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, ; with continual weeping they shall come, and seek the LORD their God. They shall ask the way to Zion, with their faces toward it, saying, “Come and let us join ourselves together with the LORD in a perpetual covenant that will not be forgotten.” ‘ ” Jeremiah 50:4,5 NKJV

He Prevails

Do not weep
that none were found
for I was sent
to prevail

and all will fall down
before Me with
their harps and bowls
of prayers.

Jesus establishes my prevailing.

“So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it. But one of the elders said to me, ‘Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.’ Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.” Revelation 5:4,5,8 NKJV

When Weeping

When you weep
and lay down your harp
thinking your song
is gone

know these feelings
will not last
for you’re with Me
where you belong.

A laid down life will yet rise and sing.

“By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept when we remembered Zion. We hung our harps upon the willows in the midst of it. How shall we sing the LORD’s song in a foreign land?” Psalm 137:1,2,4 NKJV

Even Me Also

“And Esau said to his father, ‘Have you only one blessing, my father?  Bless me, even me also, oh my father!’  And Esau lifted up his voice and wept.”  Genesis 27:38  NKJV

Esau’s plea breaks my heart.

Thank You, Father, for the unlimited blessings for us all through Jesus Christ, Your Son.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Do not fear
you have missed out

do not worry
that it’s too late

for I have loved you
with an everlasting love

and My blessings are
both endless and great.

God bless you now and forever more!

Your Joy

“Most assuredly I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.”  John 16:20 NKJV

“Therefore now you have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one can take from you.”  John 16:23 NKJV

“Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”  John 16:24 NKJV

Only Jesus can bring us joy like this.

Thank You, Lord, for a joy that can’t be taken from us.  And here’s asimple poem . . .

You will see Me
know Me

touch
My face

that your joy
may be full

and never
replaced.

God bless you as He turns your sorrow into joy today!

In The Pharisee’s House

“And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus was at the table in the Parisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil,
and stood at His feet behind Him weeping . . .”  Luke 7:37-38 NKJV

It must’ve taken quite a bit for her to walk into that house.

Thank You, Lord, for never being ashamed of us as we come to You.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Come to Me
and do not fear

for My eye is on you
to draw you near

walk past the critics
and those who sneer

seek only Me –
your Salvation’s here.

God bless you as you focus on just Him today!

“Then He lifted up His eyes toward His disciples, and said;
Blessed are you poor . . .
Blessed are you who hunger now . . .
Blessed are you who weep now . . .
Blessed are you when men hate you  . . .”  Luke 6:20-22 NKJV

I forgot Jesus said these things to those closest to Him.

Thank You, Lord, for being our always hope ad assurance.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Blessed are you
My beloved

who seek
and follow Me

though hated
poor and weeping

My glory
you will see.

God bless you today , for yours is the Kingdom of God.

A Holy Day

“‘This day is holy to the LORD your God, do not mourn nor weep.”  For all the people wept, when they heard the word of the LORD. ”  Nehemiah 8:9

“And all the people went their way to eat and drink, to send portions and rejoice greatly, because they understood the words that were declared to them.”  Nehemiah 8:12

There is a sorrow that leads to repentance , when we hear God’s word and are convicted.

Lord, we thank You for not wanting us to mourn and grieve forever, but desire to forgive us and pour out Your love, joy and understanding upon us.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

From Weeping to Rejoicing

When I first heard Your Word
and understood my sin

I asked for forgiveness
and was born again

You trade my sorrows
for Your joy and strength

adding to my days
Love’s eternal length.
