No Greater Joy

 

It gives Me
great joy
to see you walking
in the truth

loving the brethren
and strangers
faithfully doing
what you can do.

A laid down life brings God joy.

“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. Beloved, you do faithfully whatever you do for the brethren and for strangers, who have borne witness of your love before the church.” 3 John 4,5,6 NKJV

What could be seen as a burden, God makes into a blessing.

“NeverthelessI am continually with You; You hold me by my right hand. You will guide me by Your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.” Psalm 73:23-24 NKJV

guiding you by
My word

to your hand
as we walk

Our God is the giver of good things.

Thank You, Lord, for the limitless blessings You have given us.  And here is a simple poem . . .

Arise and walk
through the length and width

of this land
that to you I give

no longer need you
to crouch and sit

but discover the joy
in all of it.

Father, May I?

Whenever I just about fall, it sure gets my attention back on where I’m walking.

Thank You, Lord, for delivering me so I can walk before You now.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

I wasn’t delivered
to keep stumbling
