By the sacrifice
of Himself

He came
to put away sin

and as we
eagerly wait

He will
appear again.

Wait For Me

 

Wait for Me
until I rise up

for then I will
restore

taking away your
prideful voices

so you can call on Me
in one accord.

Deadheading the little basket of petunias, newly bought, there is more to take.off than blooming. I think about those things You have removed from my life in the last years. How it pinched. How barren and lost I felt without them. Then You say, “Therefore wait for Me.”

Feeding On His Faithfulness

 

I can be still
and patient

knowing You’re with me
in this wait

feeding on
Your faithfulness

trusting You’re never
too late.

For Signs And Wonders

 

Bind up
the testimony

seal My word
within your heart

wait on Me
and see My wonders

how My hope
will not depart.

Jesus establishes signs and wonders.

“Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples and I will wait on the LORD; who hides His face from the house of Jacob ; and I will hope in Him. Here I am and the children whom the LORD has given me! We are for signs and wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts who dwells in Mount Zion. ” Isaiah 8:16,17,18 NKJV

True Judgements

 

I am coming
to judge the earth
in truth and
righteousness.

Blessed are you who
wait and watch
wearing your praise
garments.

Jesus establishes judgements.

“And I heard another from the altar saying, ‘Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgements.’ Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches , and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.” Revelation 16:7,15 NKJV

Redemption

 

Wait for Me
oh let your soul wait
and in My word
do hope

for with Me is mercy
and forgiveness
from which
redemption flows.

A laid down life has hope.

“But there is forgiveness with You, that You may be feared. I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in His word I do hope. O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is mercy, and with Him is abundant redemption.” Psalm 130:4,5,7 NKJV
