Dream Giver

 

I will give you
dreams and visions

of what is yet
to be

so you can now
prepare yourself

and continually look
to Me.

Visions

 

May you have prophecies
to hear

and visions
to see

as long as
they’re true

and come
from Me.

You establish prophecies and visions for me.

“Your prophets have seen for you false and deceptive visions, they have not uncovered your iniquity, to bring back your captives, but have envisioned for you false prophecies and delusions.” Lamentations 2:14 NKJV

Wakened

“Now the angel who talked with me came back and wakened me, as a man who is wakened out of his sleep.”  Zechariah 4:1  NKJV

I long to stay awakened to Him.

Thank You, Lord,  for sending us insights, visions and revelations.  And here’s a simple poem. . .

 

Oh Lord, awaken me

out of my sleep

that I might see

whatever You send to me.

 

God bless you as He wakens you today.

When I Saw Him

“And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead.  But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.”  Revelation 1:17 NKJV

I’ve never had a vision of Jesus like John did.

Thank You, Lord, for being more than I can ever imagine.  And here’s  a simple poem . . .

Out of His mouth went
a sharp two-edged sword
and His voice was like
many waters

His countenance was like
the sun in its strength
and His eyes like
a flame of fire.   (from Rev. 1:14-16)

Two Visions

“About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God coming in and saying to him, ‘Cornelius!'” Acts 10:3
“I was in the city of Joppa praying; and in a trance I saw a vision, an object descending like a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came to me.” Acts 11:5

Both Cornelius and Peter were in prayer when they received a vision from God.

Lord, we desire to be people of prayer whom You can trust to send visions to, knowing we will respond. And here’s a simple poem . . .

Open Our Eyes

You gave Cornelius a vision
telling him what to do

while Peter saw the Gentiles
were clean too.

Open our eyes, Lord
to what You want us to see

please give us visions
for Your Kingdom’s glory.
