Citizenship

 

Our citizenship
is in heaven

from which we
eagerly wait

for our Lord Jesus
to transform us

into His
glorious state.

Unveiled

 

All praise to God
for He has taken

away the veil
so we can see

and be transformed
by the Spirit

into who He made us
to truly be.

I am being transformed day by day, for You are with me.

Recognized

“So Joseph recognized his brothers, but they did not recognize him.”  Genesis 42:8  NKJV

I am always surprised when someone from my past recognizes me.

Thank You, Lord, for always knowing who I am and how to change me.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Lord, make me
unrecognizable
from who
I used to be

as I put away
the old
and You
transform me.
