Everything about the basement seemed beyond my ability to improve.

Near

New Growth

on the last seeds in the pack

I didn’t think anything was going to grow.

 

“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” Psalm 27:13 NKJV

Leaning

blooms adjust

 

Being able to adjust is a gift.

 

“My eyes are ever toward the Lord,

For He shall pluck my feet out of the net.”   Psalm 25:15 NKJV

Emptied Out and Ruined

“For the Lord will restore the excellence of Jacob
Like the excellence of Israel,
For the emptiers have emptied them out
And ruined their vine branches.”  Nahum 2:2

Those involved in restoration projects go to great lengths to get it right.

Thank You, Lord, for seeing when I’m emptied out and ruined, and then carefully restoring me.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Though I am
emptied out and ruined
nothing good here
to see

You come to
replace and restore
Your excellence
in me.

This One
