Refined And Tested

 

I will test you
as gold is tested

I will refine you
as silver is refined

you shall call on Me
and I will answer

I am your God and
you are Mine.

“I will bring the one-third through the fire, will refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘This is My people’; and each one will say, ‘The LORD is my God.'”

Zechariah 13:9 NKJV

Open

 

Open your heart
to Me
and do not be
afraid

to take part in
My sufferings
for this
you’re also made.

A laid down life is tested.

“I opened for my beloved, but my beloved had turned away and was gone. My heart leaped up when he spoke. I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer. The watchmen who went about the city found me; they struck me, they wounded me . . .If you find my beloved . . .tell him I am lovesick! Yes, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend.” Song of Solomon 5:6,7,8,16 NKJV

As Gold Is Tested

“I will bring the one-third through the fire

Will refine them as silver is refined,

and test them as gold is tested.

They will call on My name

And I will answer them.

I will say, ‘This is My people’;

And each one will say, ‘The Lord is my God.'”  Zechariah 13:9

 

Silver and gold must be tested and refined in order to be used.

Thank You, Lord, for Your great mercy that enables us to persevere.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

 

Behold, these are the ones

who’ve been refined

 

by the

hottest fire.

 

I answer when

they call on Me

 

and am their

One Desire.
