The Grace Of God

 

The grace of God
that brings salvation

has appeared to all
men

teaching us how
to live and love

looking for His coming
again.

I can live out the grace of my salvation, for You are with me.

“looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.”

In Humility

 

Be gentle
avoiding quarrels

teaching others
patiently

humbly correcting
those who oppose

so the truth is known
and they’re set free.

I can avoid arguing, for You are with me.

**********

“And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient,”

“in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth,”

“and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.”

2 Timothy 2:24,25,26 NKJV

Faulted

 

I was faulted
for stirring up people

for teaching throughout
the land

now it’s your turn
to take the Gospel

to whomever whenever
you can.

You establish my mission.

“Then Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowd, ‘I find no fault in this Man.’ But they were the more fierce, saying, ‘He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee to this place.’ ” Luke 23:4,5 NKJV

Teaching And Preaching

 

I will teach
and preach to you

the wonderful
word of God

in ways you can
believe, receive –

new wineskins of
My love.

You establish Your word to me.

“Immediately many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them. Then He went out again by the sea, and all the multitude came to Him, and He taught them. ‘And no one puts new wine into old wineskins, or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.’ ” Mark 2:2,13,22

Attended To

 

I will answer
and cause you
to hear me
and walk in My way

delivering you
and teaching you
reviving you
each day.

A laid down life is attended to by God.

“Answer me speedily, O LORD; my spirit fails! Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning, for in You I do trust; cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You. Deliver me, O LORD, from my enemies; in You I take shelter. Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God. Revive me, O LORD, for Your name’s sake!” Psalm 143:7,8,9,10,11 NKJV

He Came Again

 

 

“But early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him, and He sat down and taught them.”  John 8:2  NKJV

Nothing kept Jesus from doing what He came to do.

Thank You, Lord, for coming to us and staying with us.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

You come to us
and stay with us
throughout the day
and night.

You sit with us
and reveal to us
how to walk in Your
marvelous light.
