“But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brethren.” Acts 14:2
“Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who was bearing witness to the word of His grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands.” Acts 14:3
There was opposition here. People’s minds had been poisoned against them. I, myself, would want to leave, but they stayed a long time.
Lord, help me not to flee immediately in the face of opposition, but to stay bold in You. And here’s a simple poem . . .
Bold In The Lord
Preaching the gospel
of our Lord Jesus Christ
no city they went to
had to ask twice
speaking boldly and bearing witness
to the word of His grace
granted signs and wonders
to be done in that place.
