When I Saw Him

“And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead.  But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.”  Revelation 1:17 NKJV

I’ve never had a vision of Jesus like John did.

Thank You, Lord, for being more than I can ever imagine.  And here’s  a simple poem . . .

Out of His mouth went
a sharp two-edged sword
and His voice was like
many waters

His countenance was like
the sun in its strength
and His eyes like
a flame of fire.   (from Rev. 1:14-16)

God bless you as you fall at His feet today!

Wanting To See Jesus

“And he sought to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, for he was of short stature.” Luke 19:3
“So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way.” Luke 19:4

What am I willing to do in order to see Jesus in my life?

Lord, I want to see who You are more and more each day. And here’s a simple poem . . .

Climbing Up

What would I do
O Jesus
in order to see You?

Would I climb a tree
if I knew
You were passing through?

Or would I stay
on the ground
and let the crowd
block my view?

O Jesus
may nothing ever come
between me and You.
