For He Will Save

 

Jesus
our Messiah

came to save us
from our sins

to reconcile
our hearts to God

whose Kingdom
never ends.

Able to save
to the uttermost

those who come to God
through You

ever living
to make intercession

You are a High Priest
holy and true.

Appointed

 

I’ll gather back
those driven out

saving you
who are lame

and among the peoples
of the earth

it’s to you I’ll give
praise and fame.

A Warrior Who Saves

 

Do not be afraid
and fearful

for I am a Warrior
who saves

the Lord your God
in your midst.

No Other

 

No other God
can deliver

no other God
is true

no other God
can save us

no other God
but You.

You establish Yourself as the God who delivers.

“Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or language which speaks anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego shall be cut in pieces and their houses shall be made an ash heap; because there is no other God who can deliver like this.” Daniel 3:29 NKJV

To Save

 

I did not come
to destroy

to punish or
condemn

but with power
and with love

to heal and save
all men.

You establish why You came for me.

“For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.” Luke 9:56 NKJV

With You To Save You

 

I will deliver you
and save you

the enemy
will not prevail

for I am with you
to redeem you

so evil’s grip
shall fail.

You establish my reassurance.

” ‘And I will make you to this people a fortified bronze wall; and they will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you,’ says the LORD. I will deliver you from the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem you from the grip of the terrible.” Jeremiah 15:20,21 NKJV

I Will Bear

 

I have made you
and I will carry you

yes, I will bear
you up

I’m the only One
who can save you

I’m your God of
more than enough.

My safety is established by You.

“I have made and I will bear, even I will carry, and will deliver you.” Isaiah 46:4 NKJV

I Will

“I will bring them back

Because I have mercy on them.”  Zechariah 10:6

 

God’s mercy is a powerful thing.

Thank you, Lord, for all Your mercy has done, is doing and will yet do.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

 

I will strengthen them

and save them

 

I will hear them

and have mercy

 

I will bring them back

and redeem them

 

so they will increase

and rejoice in Me.
