Dwelling Among Us

All whose hearts
are willing

who are moved
to give

will be My
sanctuaries

where I choose
to live.

**********

I give my heart willingly, for You are with me.

**********

“From everyone who gives it willingly with his heart you shall take My offering.”

“And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them.”

Exodus 25:2,8. NKJV

The Center

THE LORD IS THERE
shall be the name of
the city from
now on

in the center
of the people
He is their strength
and song.

You establish Yourself as My center.

“The sanctuary of the LORD shall be in the center. All the way around shall be eighteen thousand cubits; and the name of the city from that day shall be: THE LORD IS THERE.” Ezekiel 48:10,35 NKJV

This Gate

As I entered
by the east
and then the gate
was shut

I’ve set My seal
upon you
making you one
with Us.

You establish Your entering in.

“Then He brought me back to the outer gate of the sanctuary which faces toward the east, but it was shut. And the LORD said to me, ‘This gate shall be shut; it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter by it, because the LORD God of Israel has entered by it, therefore it shall be shut.’ ” Ezekiel 44:1,2 NKJV

His Presence

Just as
the sea fled
and Jordan
turned back

the power
of My Presence
is still real
and intact.

A laid down life is God’s sanctuary.

“When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange languages, Judah became His sanctuary, and Israel His dominion . The sea saw it and fled; Jordan turned back. Tremble , O earth, at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the God of Jacob.” Psalm 114:1,2,3,7 NKJV

Covered and Carried

“And when Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary and all the furnishings of the sanctuary, when the camp is set to go, then the sons of Kohath shall come to carry them . . . ” Numbers 4:15

In this fourth chapter of Numbers, the Levites, divided into families, were given specific tasks of how to cover and carry the tabernacle of meeting.

Thank You, Lord, for covering and carrying . . . me. And here’s a simple poem . . .

But For You

Nothing about my life
should work
on any level
but You cover and carry me
as though I were
a most holy place.
