“And the Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward.” Exodus 14:15
I know what it’s like to be around someone having a meltdown. But 600,000 men plus their families having meltdowns? Yikes!
Yet that is what Moses faced as the people found themselves sandwiched between Pharaoh and the Red Sea. God’s response to Moses may have seemed a little harsh, but in reality He was simply reminding Moses, “Of course I’m going to save you. Of course, I’m going to make a way.”
Thank You, Jesus, for reminding me that when things get bad / ugly / scary there is only one thing to do . . . move forward through it with You. And here’s a simple poem . . .
The Only Thing To Do
In the end
what am I to do
whenever I hit
a road block or two
but go over, under
around or through
always forward
and on with You.
What do you need to go forward through with Jesus?
