Return And Submit

 

Surrender your attitudes
to Me

whatever they
may be

and I will help you
to submit

so only My love
is seen.

I Do Not Change

 

I am the Lord
unchanging

My mercy
never ends

come
and be forgiven

trust Me and My
commands.

God’s Invitation

 

May I turn to You
over and over

instead of
running back

so I may know
the freedom of salvation

the rest of You fighting
on my behalf.

You are with me and always invite me to return to You.

Renewal

 

I return
redeem
rebuild and
renew

for I’m in
the business
of healing
you.

You establish my renewal.

“Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth. And I will cause the captives of Judah and the captives of Israel to return, and will rebuild those places as at the first .” Jeremiah 33:6,7 NKJV

Broken

 

Even if I
must break you

in order for you

You establish my need of You.

“Then you will break the flask in the sight of the men who go with you, and say to them, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts: “Even so I will break this people and this city, as one breaks a potter’s vessel . . .” ‘ “. Jeremiah 19:10,11 NKJV

Return

 

Return to Me
for I am merciful

it is never ever
too late

and I will handpick shepherds
to care for you

according to My love
which is great.

You establish the way of repentance for me.

“‘Return, backsliding Israel,’ says the LORD, ‘I will not cause My anger to fall on you, for I am merciful,’ says the LORD. ‘And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.’ ” Jeremiah 3:12,15 NKJV

First Love

 

Remember from where
you’ve fallen

repent and do
your first works

returning to Me
your True Love

the One who knows
your real worth.

Jesus is my established first love.

“I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; and you have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lamp stand from its place – unless you repent.” Revelation 2:2,3,4,5 NKJV

Submit Yourself

Submitting can be one of the hardest things to do.

Thank You, Lord, for teaching us first to submit to You.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Lord, as You
grow us

to live in submission
to You

we can
submit to others

knowing You’re in control
there too.

God bless you as you submit yourself to God and others.

Re:Turn

When I turn to God, I always see that He has never left me.

Returning

“Then she arose with her daughters-in-law that she might return from the country of Moab, for she had heard in the country of Moab that the Lord had visited His people in giving them bread.” Ruth 1:6

Things can be going along so well that I don’t even notice I have moved away from God.

Lord, I long to return to You daily / hourly / moment by moment. For You alone have what I need to survive. And here’s a simple poem . . .

He Visits Us

Floating in His peace
blessed – just so blessed

how did we end up here today
in such an inner mess?

Oh let us return to You, Lord
over and over again

to the land of Your sustenance
where You visit us with bread.
