God Hears

I hear
and remember

I have not
forgot

all the promises
I’ve made

the covenant I’ve
begot.

**********

The One who hears and remembers is with me.

**********

“Then the children of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry came up to God because of the bondage.”

“So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.”

“And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God acknowledged them.”

Exodus 2:23,24,25. NKJV

Psalm 20 Selah

With every obstacle
and challenge

you can praise Me
and give thanks

assured of My
great love for you

that saves and won’t
turn back.

**********

“May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble; may the name of the God of Jacob defend you;”

“may He send you help from the sanctuary, and strengthen you out of Zion;”

“may He remember all your offerings, and accept your burnt sacrifice.” Selah

“Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand.”

“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.”

“They have bowed down and fallen; but we have risen and stand upright.”

Psalm 20:1,2,3,6,7,8. NKJV

Remembering Me

You shall walk
in My name

strengthened
by Me

increased and
brought back

remembering
redeemed.

**********

I remember You wherever I am, for You are with me.

**********

“. . .for I will redeem them ; and they shall increase as they once increased.”

“I will sow them among the peoples, and they shall remember Me in far countries; they shall live together with their children, and they shall return.”

“I will also bring them back from the land of Egypt and gather them from Assyria.”

” ‘So I will strengthen them in the LORD, and they shall walk up and down in His name,’ says the LORD.”

Zechariah 10:8,9,10,12 NKJV

What Is Good

I brought you up
and ransomed you

remember what
I’ve done

walking humbly
with Me

loving justice and
compassion.

**********

I remember what You have done, for You are with me.

***********

“For I brought you up from the land of Egypt, I redeemed you from the house of bondage; and I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.”

“O My people, remember now what Balak King of Moab counseled, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him, from Acacia Grove to Gilgal, that you may know the righteousness of the LORD.”

“He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?”

Remember

Help me
remember

and not ever
forget

that You are
my Maker

how each need
is met.

***********

I am constantly reminded of You, for You are with me.

***********

“For Israel has forgotten his Maker,
And has built temples.”

Hosea 8:14. NKJV

Not Of Me

There is much
said of Me

that simply
isn’t true

remember what
you know of Me

what My Word and Soirit
tells you.

You establish Your commands to me.

“And they have built the high places of Tophat, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and daughters in the fire, which I did not command, nor did it come into My heart.” Jeremiah 7:31 NKJV

Covenant

Remember daily
My wonderous works
how I saved
and redeemed you

to tell others
all I have done
and of My covenant
with you.

A laid down life is in a covenant relationship with God.

“Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; talk of all His wonderous works. Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face evermore. Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgements of His mouth. He has remembered His covenant forever.” Psalm 105:2,4,5,8

Remember

In your anguish
remember
My wonders
and My works

talk of My deeds
and soon see
your despair
forsook.

A laid down life remembers God’s wonders and works.

“And I said, ‘This is my anguish; but I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High.’ I will remember the works of the Lord, surely I will remember Your wonders of old. I will also meditate on all Your work, and talk of Your deeds.” Psalm 77:10-12 NKJV

Remember Me

220px-Rumunia_5806

“But remember me when it is well with you, and please show kindness to me; make mention of me to Pharaoh, and get me out of this house.”  Genesis 40:14  NKJV
“Yet the chief butler did not remember Joseph, but forgot him.”  Genesis 40:23 NKJV

I fail others at times and forget them.

Thank You, Lord, for never forgetting us.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Every good thing
that happens

every beautiful sight
I see

reminds me there
is a God

and how very much
He loves me.

God bless you as you remember Him today!

Fallen

“Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place – unless you repent.”  Revelation 2:5  NKJV

Three of the four churches spoken to in Chapter 2 were told to repent.  Only the persecuted church of Smyrna was not.

Thank You, Father, for searching me and giving me the opportunity to repent.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

I see the works
that you’ve done
your love and patience
and your faith

now repent
where you have fallen
have ears to hear
what I say.

God bless you as you hear what He has to say to you today!
