Refined And Tested

 

I will test you
as gold is tested

I will refine you
as silver is refined

you shall call on Me
and I will answer

I am your God and
you are Mine.

“I will bring the one-third through the fire, will refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘This is My people’; and each one will say, ‘The LORD is my God.'”

Shining With Brightness

 

Those whose names are written
shall be delivered

shining with brightness
a heavenly glow

purified, made white
refined with understanding

the wisdom of making
His glory known.

You establish a refining understanding.

“And at that time your people shall be delivered, every one who is found written in the book. Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever. Many shall be purified, made white, and refined but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.” Daniel 12:1,3,10 NKJV

Brought Out

 house and animal

sitting

all eyes on us

“We went through fire and through water; but You brought us out to rich fulfillment.  Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me.”  Psalm 66:12,20 NKJV

I have brought you

through the fire

and through

the water too

never turning

away your prayer

nor My mercy

from you.

As Gold Is Tested

“I will bring the one-third through the fire

and test them as gold is tested.

They will call on My name

And I will answer them.

Silver and gold must be tested and refined in order to be used.

Thank You, Lord, for Your great mercy that enables us to persevere.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

 

Behold, these are the ones

who’ve been refined

 

by the

hottest fire.

 

I answer when

they call on Me

 

and am their

One Desire.

Coming Forth As Gold

“But He knows the way that I take’
When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.”  Job 23:10

Once I sent in some gold jewelry for cash, but the recompense was so small, I asked for it back.

Lord, we trust You and believe that we shall come forth from each of our tests, rich in testimonies for Your glory.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Truly Treasured

Today’s refiners gather
paying us a small price

for what once had value
as memorable gifts in life

while God takes true treasure
our hearts, minds and souls

refining them by His Spirit
until we come forth as gold.
