Inside
each of us

a God placed dream
is there

that at His
appointed time

Kingdom purposes
it will bear.

Share In The Sufferings

 

We’ve been saved and called
with a holy calling

by His own purpose
and grace

to share in the sufferings
for the gospel

bringing forth His power
and praise.

I can suffer for the gospel according to Your power, for You are with me.

“Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God,”

“who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began . . .”

Seasoned

 

I will
season you

with Holy Spirit
fire

so you
continue to live

by My purpose
and power.

You establish my purpose.

“For everyone will be seasoned with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt. Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another.” Mark 9:49,50 NKJV

Keep looking
for Me

always desire
to know

what next
I am doing

which direction
you should go.

You establish where I go.

“When they found Him, they said to Him, ‘Everyone is looking for You.’ But He said, ‘Let us go into the next town, that I may preach there also, because for this purpose I have come forth.’ ” Mark 1:37,38 NKJV

This Hour

“Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say?  Father save Me from this hour?  But for this purpose I came to this hour.”  John 12:27 NKJV

“Father, glorify Your name.”  John 12:28  NKJV

I often just see trouble as trouble.

Thank You, Lord, for helping  me see trouble differently and as a time to glorify You.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Now My soul
is troubled

and what
shall I say?

Father, save Me
from this hour?

But for Your purpose
I came. . .

Father , glorify
Your name

Yes, Lord
glorify Your name.
