To The Pure

 

To the pure
all things are pure

to the unbelieving
nothing is

choose to know God
and do good works

being obedient
and fully His.

A Pure Offering

 

Bring to Me
your purest offerings

whatever you have
without blemish

for I am truly
your Great King

Who you can trust
with your very best.

Watching

 

I am watching
always watching
and see
the good you do

turning away wrath
with soft answers
and a pure
heart too.

A laid down life is watched by God.

“A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. The eyes of the LORD are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good. The words of the pure are pleasant. The heart of the righteous studies how to answer.” Proverbs 15:1,3,26,28 NKJV

All Or Nothing

I live with someone pure and it’s a tremendous blessing.

Lord, thank You for purifying us more and more so that we can see only You.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

mind, heart and soul

seeking and seeing Jesus
mile after mile.

When we take a drink of water, we don’t want to find anything else floating around in it.

Oh Lord, we desire to be pure in thought, word and deed for You.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Pure

There is much to read
to listen to, to watch

A Holy Incense

“You shall make of these an incense, a compound according to the art of the perfumer, salted, pure and holy. And you  shall beat some of it very fine, and put some of it before the Testimony in the tabernacle of meeting where I will meet with you.  It shall be most holy to you.”  Exodus 30:35-36

I have a dear friend going through intense struggles.  Her life is pressed and crushed daily, a very fine worship of Her King.

Oh Lord, may I not resist becoming a very fine incense for You.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

The Very Fine Kind

By the greatest Artist of all
we are compounded, stirred and mixed
salted, made holy and purified
for such a time as this.

And some lives are further crushed
into a very fine incense
put forth as a testimony
a great and holy witness.
