Finding Grace

 

Finding grace
in Your sight

doesn’t entitle me
to more than the next

but means I have
the promise

of Your Presence
and rest.

The One who gives the grace of His Presence and rest is with me.

“Now therefore I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation is Your people.”

“And He said, ‘My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.’ “

Not Allowed

 

With the blood of Jesus
on us

the destroyer
cannot strike

as we are given
freedom

and the promise of
new life.

The One who delivers from bondage is with me.

“For the LORD will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two door posts, the LORD will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you.”

“And you shall observe this thing as an ordinance for you and your sons forever.”

“It will come to pass when you come to the land which the LORD will give you, just as He promised, that you will keep this service.”

Diligent Hope

 

Stay diligent
assured by hope

not giving in to
despair

imitating those
with faith and patience

who of the promises
are heirs.

I can stay diligent in hope for You are with me.

“And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end “

“that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”

Surely

 

God has surely
visited me

to bring me through
all this

carrying me
when I am weak

to the place that He
promised.

The One who promised to bring the Hebrews out of Egypt is with me.

In The Cloud

 

When I bring a cloud
over the earth

a rainbow shall
be seen

and I’ll remember
My covenant

which is between
you and Me.

The One who establishes His covenant and promises is with me.

By The Will Of God

 

We are here by
the will of God

according to His promise
of life

all grace and mercy
and all peace

flow from God and His Son
Jesus Christ.

Through Faith

 

We are heirs
according to the promise

through faith
in the Son

children of God
clothed with His love

baptized
into one.

Laughter

 

Hard pressed
barren

seemingly running
out of time

yet we can joy
in Jesus

knowing His ways are
lovingkind.

The Hope of the Promise

“And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made by God to our fathers.”  Acts 26:6 NKJV

Jesus is our Hope and our Promise.

Thank You, Lord, for the hope Your promises contain.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Jesus is the hope
of the promise

that God gave us
long before

coming to bring
forgiveness

and eternal life
restore.

God bless you as you have Hope today!

Profitable

“For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable in all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.”  1 Timothy 4:8

God just adds and adds and adds to our lives.
