He Will Do It

 

He who calls us
is faithful

He is Jesus Christ
our Lord

who will sanctify us
completely

making us blameless
preserved.

All other help
will crumble

so you learn to look
to Me

for I am your
Defender

who fights for you
endlessly.

Jesus establishes my help.

“Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses . . .but who do not look to the Holy One of Israel, nor seek the LORD! Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses are flesh, and not spirit. Both he who helps will fall, and he who is helped will fall down. So the LORD of hosts will come down to fight for Mount Zion and for its hill. Defending, He will also deliver it; passing over, He will preserve it.” Isaiah 31:1,3,4,5 NKJV

Preserved

 

You are called
sanctified
preserved
in Me

kept in
My love
and eternal
mercy.

A laid down life is kept from stumbling out of His reach.

“To those who are called, sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ: mercy, peace and love be multiplied to you. . . .keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our LORD Jesus Christ unto eternal life. Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy , to God our Savior who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever, amen.” Jude 1,2,21,24 NJKV

Kept

 

I am your Keeper
who does not sleep
who preserves your soul
from evil schemes

who provides all
the shade you’ll need
and draws your eyes
to look at Me.

A laid down life is kept by the Lord.

“I will lift up my eyes to the hills – from whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade at your right hand. The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.” Psalm 121:1,2,3,5,7 NKJV

Sown

 

I preserve your soul
and deliver you
out of
wicked hands

sowing for you
light and gladness
that you may rejoice
and give thanks.

A laid down life is sown with light and gladness.

“He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart. Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name.” Psalm 97:10-12 NKJV

Preserved

“The Lord preserved David wherever he went.”  2 Samuel 8:6

Some things are preserved in museums or jars, but David was not in such a place.

Lord, we humbly bow down as You consider us valuable and cherished,  a people that You will preserve.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Wherever you go

eternally saved in My heart.
