Finding Grace

 

Finding grace
in Your sight

doesn’t entitle me
to more than the next

but means I have
the promise

of Your Presence
and rest.

The One who gives the grace of His Presence and rest is with me.

“Now therefore I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation is Your people.”

“And He said, ‘My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.’ “

Exodus 33:13,14 NKJV

His Presence Before Them

 

Fire by night
gave them light

a daily cloud
led the way

His presence before them
He did not take

even for a moment
away.

The One who led by pillars of cloud and fire is with me.

“And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night.”

“He did not take away the pillar of cloud by day or the pillar of fire by night from before the people.”

Called Into Existence

 

Humbled
in the presence

of the God
whom I believe

as He calls the things
which don’t exist

as though they do
indeed.

You are with me and help me see what You see.

“Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith, of Abraham. Who is the father of us all,”

Brightness

 

The brightness
of My Presence

will outshine
your darkest day

like a rainbow
above the firmament

My glory
will make a way.

Your brightness is established in my life.

“Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD.” Ezekiel 1:28. NKJV

The Lord IS With Me

 

Though it may seem
too hard to do

what I ask
you to

My love and presence
will overshadow

the difficulty
for you .

You establish me with Your presence.

“I am in derision daily; everyone mocks me. But the LORD is with me as a mighty, awesome one.” Jeremiah 20:7,11 NKJV

Stay

 

Stay
awhile with Me
and good will
come from it

My word
for your day
the power of
My Spirit.

A laid down life is wanted in God’s presence.

“Keep the king’s commandment for the sake of your oath to God. Do not be hasty to go from his presence. Where the word of a king is, there is power.” Ecclesiates 8:2,3,4 NKJV
