We will suffer
persecution

when we desire to live
godly in Christ

as evil men
grow worse and worse

God’s word will make
us wise.

Psalm 7 Selah

 

When I face
persecution

and injustice
done to me

let it be
Your judgement

that I trust
and seek.

I can pause and trust in Your judgement for You are with me.

“O LORD my God, in You I put my trust; save me from all those who persecute me; deliver me.”

“My defense is of God, who saves the upright in heart.”

“God is a just judge.”

but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it – lest you even be found to fight against God.”  Acts 5:38-39 NKJV

We have the advantage point of time to know this plan was and is of God.

against You, Lord

The Authority and The Glory

The devil offering authority and glory to THE Authority and Glory? I blink hard.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, that even when You had gone through fasting and temptation for 40 days, You never forgot Who You were and all You had. And here’s a simple poem . . .

Holy Teleprompter

“But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak.  For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; for it is not you who speak, but the  spirit of your Father who speaks in you.”  Matthew 10:19-20

Most public speakers must write their speech then practice it’s delivery.  Those of us unaccustomed to speaking in front of others find it all rather nerve wracking.

Being Prepared

There are times when
we have to speak
under persecution
and despair
but with Jesus
in our lives
we are all
ready prepared.
