Faith Tests

 

Let patience have
it’s perfect work

so I may be
complete

lacking nothing
for I know

I have You and You
have me.

Lord, help me see trials the way You do, as opportunities to test my faith and grow in patience.

Diligent Hope

 

Stay diligent
assured by hope

not giving in to
despair

imitating those
with faith and patience

who of the promises
are heirs.

I can stay diligent in hope for You are with me.

“And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end “

Guarded and Guided

 

I will establish you
and guard you

from the
evil one

directing your heart
into My love

and into the patience of
My Son.

Longsuffering With Joy

 

O Lord, we pray to be filled
with the knowledge of Your will

walking closer and closer
with You

strengthened with all might
by Your glorious light

joyous in what
we go through.

The Patience and Faith

 

Your names
are written

in My Book
of Life

and only Me
will you worship

My patient
faithful Bride.

Jesus establishes my name.

“And all who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If anyone has an ear, let him hear. He who,leads onto captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and faith of the saints.” Revelation 13:8,9,10 NKJV

Heart Directions

“Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.”  2 Thessalonians 3:5

I really appreciate good directions.

Lord, thank You for always guiding me in the right direction . . .toward You.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Into Love

Please guide us Lord
to where we need to be
further into love
and the patience of Thee
for our hearts  need direction
in order to stay true
and on the right course
set by You.

 

 

Patience and Faith

As my youngest goes through a time of seizures, it requires both patience and faith. Patience . . .to face the challenges and limitations this brings. Faith . . .to know God is with her, has good plans for her and this time will come to an end.

Jesus, we thank You that the pain and suffering we see in the world today will not go on forever.  You will come and set things right.

Here’s a simple poem to encourage us to have patience and faith in Jesus today.

Why Not Now?

Here in lies the patience
and faith of the saints

wrapped up in their God
Who alone is great

spreading His gospel message
to every tribe and tongue

saying the hour is growing late,
now is the time to come.

“Fear God and give glory to Him for the hour of His judgement has come.”  Revelation 14:7
