Rejoice Before The Lord

Celebrate with Me
the times you’ve been

willing and glad
to be moved

still keeping now
your hearts a-ready

in your own spiritual

Lord, I celebrate how You move me step by step into what’s next and lies ahead.

“And you shall take for yourselves on the first day the fruit of beautiful trees, branches of palm trees, the boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days.”

“You shall keep it as a feast to the LORD for seven days in the year. It shall be a statute forever in your generations. You shall celebrate it in the seventh month.

“You shall dwell in booths for seven days. All who are native Israelites shall dwell in booths,”

“that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.”

Leviticus 23:40,41,42,43 NKJV

Moved With Compassion

“But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered like sheep having no shepherd.”  Matthew 9:36 NKJV

Jesus was not overwhelmed by the multitudes and their needs.

Thank You, Lord, for Your compassion upon us.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Please fill me
with Your compassion

for the weary
and their needs

that I may be sent
into Your harvest

laboring as Your
hands and feet.

God bless you as He moves you today!

Move Me

“He has said in his heart,
‘I shall not be moved;'”  Psalm 10:6

It is a red flag for me, whenever I realize I’m telling God what I shall not do.

Lord, thank You for moving me so I can be close to You.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Moved Closer

source –

In stubbornness and pride
I decide
what I will
and will not do

then Your wisdom and love comes
moving me
so I can be
closer and closer to You.
