“This is the law of the burnt offerings, the grain offering, the sin offering, the trespass offering, the consecrations and the sacrifice of the peace offering which the Lord commanded Moses on Mount Sinai, on the day that He commanded the children of Israel, to offer their offerings to the Lord, in the Wilderness of Sinai.” Leviticus 7:37-38
Harsh wilderness times can make us want to pull back and hunker down.
Thank You, Jesus, for showing us to offer of ourselves now, here in the middle of our need. These are the kind of offerings that make eyes and hearts turn to You. And here’s a simple poem . . .
Now’s Good
I scramble up from my
wilderness slouch, hearing
“Don’t wait until you reach
the promised land”
so I begin to offer
all that I can
get my hands
and heart around.
