Counting Loss

Nothing compares
with knowing You

and Your resurrection

to share in
Your sufferings

being conformed
hour by hour.

You are with me as my most excellent gain.

“But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ.”

“But indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ . . .”

” . . .that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed in His death.”

Philippians 3:7,8,10 NKJV

No Compensation

“For we have been sold, my people and I, to be destroyed, to be killed, and to be annihilated. Had we been sold as male and female slaves, I would have held my tongue, although the enemy could never compensate for the king’s loss.”  Esther 7:4

We can’t be snatched away from our King.

Lord, thank You for valuing us and treasuring us , for keeping and covering us from the schemes of the enemy.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

For We Are His

How could the enemy
ever compensate
for taking one
of His own away?
