An eye for an eye
a tooth for a tooth

is how
it used to be

until Jesus said
Father forgive

what they do
to Me.

You Are A Blessing

 

I will save you
to be a blessing

do not fear
let your hands be strong

speaking the truth
to one another

letting justice and peace
take the place of wrong.

Ever Righteous

 

He is ever righteous
among us

His ways are
always pure

each day He reveals
His justice to us

His unfailing love
endures.

Seek the Lord
all you meek

seek righteousness
and humility

for His justice
shall be upheld

toward those who threaten
arrogantly.

What Is Good

 

I brought you up
and ransomed you

Twists

 

Let me not practice
ignore or tolerate

anything in me
that’s not of You

keeping to
Your word and Your way

not twisting and turning
the Truth.

Wait On Your God

 

You speak to me
in the quiet

and even in
the storm

saying observe mercy
and justice

wait on Me
be transformed.

Your Works Are Truth

 

All honor and glory
to You, O Lord

whose works
are always truth

Your dominion is pure
Your ways are justice

and all pride
You will undo.

In Mercy

 

Pray and weep
for the oppressor

for those who extort
and despise

for My throne
is established in mercy

truth and justice
always arise.

Jesus establishes His throne in mercy.

“For the extortionist is at an end, devastation ceases. The oppressors are consumed out of the land. In mercy the throne will be established; and One will sit on it in truth, in the tabernacle of David, judging and seeking justice and hastening righteousness. ” Isaiah 16:4,5 NKJV

The Increase

 

I will increase
My Kingdom

and there will be
no end

of the joy
and justice

of which
I intend.

Jesus establishes the increase.

“You have multiplied the nation and increased its joy. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgement and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.” Isaiah 9:3,7 NKJV
