Mercy Triumphs

 

Judgement is
without mercy

to the one who has
shown none

but mercy triumphs
over judgement

as we love and follow
the Son.

Lord Jesus, I desire to show mercy to others on a daily basis, instead of judgement.

Psalm 7 Selah

 

When I face
persecution

and injustice
done to me

let it be
Your judgement

that I trust
and seek.

I can pause and trust in Your judgement for You are with me.

**********

“O LORD my God, in You I put my trust; save me from all those who persecute me; deliver me.”

“My defense is of God, who saves the upright in heart.”

“God is a just judge.”

The Will Of The Father

 

Just as You
did nothing

completely on
Your own

may I seek
to do Your will

each day as
I go.

You establish how all works are done.

“I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear. I judge; and My judgement is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.” John 5: 30 NKJV

True Judgements

 

I am coming
to judge the earth
in truth and
righteousness.

Blessed are you who
wait and watch
wearing your praise
garments.

Jesus establishes judgements.

“And I heard another from the altar saying, ‘Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgements.’ Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches , and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.” Revelation 16:7,15 NKJV

Awesome Majesty

“He comes from the north as golden splendor;
With God is awesome majesty.
. . .He is excellent in power,

In judgement and abundant justice;
He does not oppress.
Therefore men fear Him . . .”   Job 37:22-24

A majestic Holy just God IS a fearsome thing!

Oh Lord, help us remember not to fear those who judge us , are unjust and oppress . .. because we have You.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Fearsome

Before His splendor
we fall down
and His majesty
reflects and surrounds
as He judges us plainly
justice in His hands
the same palms that were pierced
out of His love for man.
