Iniquity Removed

I rebuke you
satan

as you stand ready
to oppose

for it is I who remove
filthy garments

clothing in
new robes.

**********

You are with me and remove my iniquity.

**********

“Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him.”

“And the LORD said to Satan, ‘The LORD rebuke you Satan! The LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?’ “

“Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel.”

“Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, ‘Take away the filthy garments from him.’ And to him He said, ‘See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes.'”

Lay Siege

Sin will only
lay siege

and waste
to your soul

turn to Me
be redeemed

set free and
let go.

You establish the difference between a life of sin and a life of salvation.

“Moreover He said to me, ‘Son of man, surely I will cut off the supply of bread in Jerusalem; they shall eat bread by weight and with anxiety, and they shall drink water by measure and with dread, that they may lack bread and water, and be dismayed with one another, and waste away because of their iniquity’.”. Ezekiel 4:16. NKJV

Walking With God

“He walked with Me in peace and equity
And turned many away from iniquity.”  Malachi 2:6 NKJV

Our walks with God affect others for good.

Thank You, Lord, for the covenant You make with each of us.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

He walked with Me
in peace and equity

turning many from
iniquity

revering My name
truth was on his lips

he was Mine
and I was his.

God bless you as you walk with Him today!

Confession Time

“I acknowledged my sin to You,
and my iniquity I have not hidden.
I said, ‘I will confess my
transgressions to the LORD.’
And You forgave the iniquity of
my sin.”  Psalms 32:5

In order to confess my sins, I must first acknowledge them.

Lord, thank You for Your forgiveness as I come confessing today.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

When I Know

May I be quick
to acknowledge

and confess
my sin

trusting You
will forgive me

and make me
new again.
