Rolled Away

 

Every stone
will be rolled away

  so that you
can see

I am
who I say I am

so now help others
believe.

You establish my belief.

“And they said among themselves, ‘Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?’ But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away – for it was very large.” Mark 16:3,4 NKJV

Serving

“. . .and this woman was a widow of about 84 years, who did not depart from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.” Luke 2:37

When I think of serving God, I think of missionaries going to foreign countries, or someone helping in a shelter, feeding the poor . . .or those who teach Sunday school so faithfully.

Lord, thank You for widening my view of what serving You can be. And here’s a simple poem . . .

Help to Help

Lord, I can’t help
the way others do
I’m not able to be there
for them or for You
but You are a big God
with so many ways
to graciously allow me
to serve You today.
