Mindful

 

I will teach you
to be mindful
of these things
the way I am

to see deeper
and look further
than the surface
and understand.

You establish my mindfulness of You.

“But He turned and said to Peter, ‘Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.'” Matthew 16:23 NKJV

Nothing Wicked

 

 

You cannot sympathize
with evil
or give wickedness
a place

but keep your eyes
upon Me
to walk
in My ways.

A laid down life can’t abide with wickedness.

“I will set nothing wicked before my eyes. My eyes shall be on the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me. He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house; he who tells lies shall not continue in my presence.” Psalm 101:3,6,7 NKJV

Walk

 

taking steps
to familiar places
joy

“Oh that My people would listen to Me, that Israel would walk in My ways! I would soon subdue their enemies, and turn My hand against their adversaries.” Psalm 81:13-14 NKJV

Listen
to Me
and walk
in My ways

see your
enemies subdued
and your adversaries
dismayed.
