Be Ready

 

Preach the word
in season and out

convince, rebuke
exhort

for the time will come
when sound doctrine won’t be heard

so be watchful and fulfill
your work.

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears they will heap up for themselves teachers;”

“and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.”

“But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.”

Prophecy

 

Though they bowed
to mock and blaspheme

even this
was prophecy

for every tongue
will confess

and every knee
bend to Me.

You establish and fulfill prophecy for me.

“When they had twisted a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand. And they bowed the knee before Him and mocked Him, saying, ‘Hail, King of the Jews.’ ” Matthew 27:29 NKJV

Ups And Downs

 

I will create
a way for you
through all
the ups and downs

so you fulfill
the plans I’ve made
and in Me
are always found.

My escapes are established by You.

“Now when they had departed, behold an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, ‘Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word, for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him.’ When he arose, he took the young Child and His mother by night and departed for Egypt, and was there until the death of Herod, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, ‘Out of Egypt I called My Son.’ ” Matthew 2:13,14,15 NKJV
